juan2320: I know the tutorial does not go through IRSHELL but I am just saying when I don't use IRshell and just go through the tutorial noramlly it doesn't work no matter what. That is why I turned to IRshell and what I said above, I thought may show some clue to why usb isn't working normally.

If I have done the tutorial 4-5 times already juan2320, but no matter what even with usb enabled the mod, nothing ever shows up. Even when I do have the have the right file structure where my .iso is located.

maskiri no you can not do that(you got a riped game)
you will need a new game.

coolguy6 go to the link I put in this page and look for the DH full installer in the home page.(then reinstall it)

Ok, I used the Ultimate_Installer_USB_Edition_v0.3.1__UI_.exe to install devhook .46 with buzzer's mod (it has the usb and screenshot mod).

    C:\Program Files\PolarisOne\Download\usbhosts\ISO\***.iso file

I disconnect from usb mode, run devhook and enable usb mode, and then go to umd select, and only see umd drive, and the 2 iso's i have on my memory stick.

Yes, I had it open the whole time.

I did try the other mod he suggestioned though. When I used that mod, when I went to umd select, I could see UMD drive, the iso on my memory stick, AND usbhostsf:0 but when I click on it, nothing happens.

mystic54 when you first run devhook and enable usb mode(with usbhost program open) you have to get a window in your PC that tell you to install the Type B driver.
Did you install the Type B driver that is in the pctool?
What Windows do you have?(and x32 or x64)

I have installed it once before, but just today I deleted some registry key to retry to install it. The key I deleted though, didn't make me reinstall it.

So how should I go about reinstalling that psp b driver. Are you sure that is the issue if that usbhostsf0: thing is showing up in umd select?

Ok juan. When I was looking at the tutorial on the first page and noticed something when I looked at the picture when you open up usbhosts.exe.

Ok it says new hardware is connected and all that on the botton right (near my clock), but I noticed even though the mod I'm running says usb connected and everything in the bottom right of the mod.

The thing is usbhosts.exe doesn't look like the picture in the tutorial. Mine says the first line, but it doesn't say connected (the 2nd line) has never showed up.

Finally, just adding this in. When I click on usbhostsf:0 in the umd select, it doesn't do anything.

mystic54 edit your post so you don't double post.
usb connected has to be in the black window(that is how it works)
To reinstall the Type B driver put your USB cable in a new USB port in your PC.

maskiri Coded Arms works in DHv46.(or get the old loaders)Fastloader or UMDemu 8c

Switched USB slots, and reinstalled the drivers, specifically the way the tutorial and you asked. The devhook mod says connected, but in the usbhosts, it still does not say connected to device. Is there any other program we can use besides usbhosts that would work better?

Ok using devhook .46 by booster, launcher/vshex mod ver.1.65c by chunglam

Using psp host, I can now click on usbhostsf:0 and see the iso. I have all my options set correctly but no matter what it always loads to the xmb, not the iso. I thought this might just be an over the usb issue, but I tried it with an iso that is actually on the memory card, that ended in the same result. I ran that same iso that is on my memory stick using plain old devhook .44 and it ran fine. Could that be a sign that I need to reisntall that mod? I just tried another usb modded devhook as well, but that one did even have usbhostsf:0 in the umd select. So I think I want to keep using the above mod, but I'll wait for your reply.
