Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

ok tried it again for the hell of it and it still freezes

 

Wazup people, been out for a while also been playing the DS with the DS-XTREME which should be called EXTREMELYBUGGY. Anyways thought I should drop by and see if there is now a way to load your CSO's through a wireless network. So, is it possible?

i went and got my hands on Megaman Maverick Hunter X US and when i load it through usb it comes up with the disc could not be read, any settings i needed to change to get it to work?

 

Valfore is the game untouched?(and do you have a UMD game in the drive)

if it says disc could not be read then your iso might be faulty or something is missing you did not properly copy it into the folder

 

i'm not sure if it is untouched ill try and get my hands on a different version and ill let you know, also is there anyway to get Outrun 2006 to work cause it gets to the loading screen and the usb disconnects....

atm it only works for 2.71 firmware but in the instructions it says someone can decrypt it

 

ok now it loads up like and then it launches back to the xmb saying game cannot be read

 

you must have that problem i used to have.

what i had to do is create a new Windows account and it should solve that problem

I stopped playing my PSP for a while and I just recently picked up my PSP again for Tekken. I got DevHook 4.6 up and running, I'm just wondering can we use a newer version like 5.0 or 5.1?

However there is no USB support when you emulate any firmware above 2.71 (it can emulate 3.02).

Thanks guys I've got DevHook 5.1 to work now. Now I play the waiting game for USB support for 3.02

 

No problem. But you will have to wait a while for USB support on emulated 3.02. This is because the usb.prx in firmwares higher than 2.71 are different, so the usbhostfs.prx wont work with the new one. Therefore a new usbhostfs.prx must be written to get USBHost on anything above 2.82 (emulated).

 

ok got it working on my new compaq computer that i (just bought to test out for usbhostfs) so i guess my other computer dell wasnt working right because of the usb drive maybe was an older version
