Tutorial on running ISO's via USB on Devhook, Firmware 1.5 ONLY

It should be set to 3.02 as a default. <--- what is this?

 

wapak 3.02 FW does not work with USB.(look for a thread that is only for devhook)

 

how will i know that it is 3.02 FW? i have no idea on what you are saying

 

well eternalis made i guide so it would work on 3.02 but i never tried it

 

so how will i solve my problem..

i'd tried formatting my memory but still didn't work

 

does this work with 2.71 ta-082?

 

The game comes out as a PSP_GAME file and has a bunch of prxs and such, kind of like how you play street fighter alpha max on the 1.5 psp, but it is definitely not an iso! i got yahoo and msn im, juan...if you can hit me back on that or a pm to help me make this work, that would be great!

 

hey i got to unzipping the MS_ROOT.zip but every file i go to shows me some kind of hyroglifics. isnt there some way to just extract the whole file and run that stuff on my psp?

 

kostyam69 all the files in the MS_ROOT.zip go in the MS root of your psp.(the first window you see when you connect you PC to your psp)

zoddo go back and read some of this thread and you will see how to rebild the iso with UMDgen v4.0(PC app)
you will need 2 things PSP_GAME folder and a UMD_DATA file

 

How Do! - Recently purchased a 1.5 psp and am using Devhook. I cant us the usb options either although my comp reconizes the psp when its pluged in it doesnt identify it as PSP TYPE B only as USB device and wont load the USBhosts driver. Help!

 

I had LocoRoco running well using USB the other day, now when I tried to play it today, it didn't work. I tried some other games either they say I'm loading (freezes on loading screen or black screen) and I'm sure they are 2.71 and below. Right now I play games using my Memory Stick with Devhook 0.51 and the annoying thing is having to delete ISOs to put in another.

Edit: Nevermind, I fixed this by deleting my old 271 folder and replacing it with the original one.

 

hey what about if i want to take all this devhook business back off how do i go about that? cuz i heard that you can F$^K your psp up like that.

 

I downgrader my psp to 1.5 n have 4gig memory card n got few .iso games like game of london. now i wana play them from my memory card rather then UMD. plz tell me the way how can i do that?

 

one more thing that i cant set my wallpaper in 1.5. how can i do that in 1.5 firmware?

Delete all folders in your root (dh and possible Flash0, which isn't the actual flash on your PSP, it's the emulated.), and from the PSP/GAME folder, delete the two folders labeled Devhook *.** Launcher(%) (The * stands for your Devhook version).

 

EngBare look in the first page here and do all of that.

drunkeyez edit your post and all you need is Devhook.(search and Read)

 

i got devHook .51 n .46 both. but i wana cum to know that which 1 is good enough to play .iso n .cso games on my psp 1.5 without UMD.

 

drunkeyez you need a UMD for all Devhooks to work.

do can somebody tell me of all this devhook shit will be able to come off if i want it to? and whats all this firmware crap? does it come with this devhook? i wish there was some kind of Swap Magic for PSP or something.
