okay looking to connect my pc to my tv i got a nvidia geforce7300gs which has a s video out connector. My tv has a svideo in.

Hear the million dollar question does s-video have audio connectors or will it just work by plugging it in.

my video card came with other cable connector which runs s-video to this 3 plug connector which i think might be for a hdtv(which i don't have) the 3 connectors go like this (green blue red) green below says Y blue says Pb/comp and red shows pr.

my tv also has line 1 and line 2 inputs which are the useal yellow/video red/audio left white/ audio right

what the way i should hook my video card to my tv could i use this 3 way connector for for audio or does the s-video contain audio which then i would just need a s-video cable to svideo cable.

If any of these are wrong would i have to connect my sound card some how to my tv to get sound?

    thanks for an help

I think both of the cable options your talking about are just video. For the sound your going to need to buy more cables and an adaptor. You need to change your sound output from 3.5mm plug (kind for cheap headphones) to the a/v (composite) ones that come with your average dvd player. The adaptors are cheap. I've even scene them at dollar stores.

I'm thinking just leave it s-video to s-video since you have it on your tv.
