tv sound card

    i have recently bought a tv card ,however i cannot get my pc to recognise it or install drivers .i know the card is ok as i have tried another one,i do have a gforce graphic card running could they be conflicting?i am using xp sp2 on an e,matchine/nero/power dvd/shrink/are on there also any help would be great as am pulling my hair out

    Hi, does the card show up in device manager?

    If it does it will be under Sound Video and Game Controllers.

    Go to Add Rmove Programs and uninstall all software and drivers loaded for card...I know you said you couldn't load them but just be sure they arn't there.

    Reboot the computer

    Go here and get the new drivers.....http://www.kworld.com.tw/en/index_analog.htm

    Download and install

    Reboot.

    'Be sure the PCI card is seated properly into the slot.
    You can try a different slot also'-- do this first.

    See how that works

    hes i have tried this now but still no joy it says missing thread , 1/0 opperation has been aborted because of a missing thread ? i dont know what a 1/0 op is though many thanks

    It says on the website that your graphics card must support DirectX 9.0..does it? Does your machine meet the requirements?
