okay, a while back i got a radeon 9600xt all-in-wonder. i installed it, and everything worked great. a few days ago, i had to do the "non-file destroying" or whatever it is file restore on windows xp. it turned out i had to reinstall some programs, and one of them was all the stuff for this card. i have installed, unistalled, and installed again all the software that came with this card in almost every possible configuration, and the only thing i can't get working is the TV program itself. the vcd, cd, player, dvd, and fm radio programs all work. i know the card itself is working, because i can watch the video with the capture part of several video editors on my computer. My question to the world is, does anyone know what's wrong with my setup? all help is appreciated.

I have a little update: i can't get the old media center program (8.8, i think) uninstalled. it gives me an error every time. i can get rid of my old one (7.6 or 7.9), and the new one i downloaded (9.1), but the last one won't go. is there a way to force the uninstallation even though there are errors?

Delete all your gfx card programs and drivers then use a registery cleaner to clean your registry keys. Then install all your drivers and programs, some drivers have to be installed first or after other drivers. Try using a different program like tune-up utilities 2004 to get rid of registry keys and to delete programs you dont want. I use it all the time. good look

If I may suggest, go to tweaktown.com, then go to guides and look for a document called "ATI Catalyst Installation Guide". Very thorough, it will give you all the necessary steps to clean up your system of junk and unwanted driver files.
