Trouble with this TV tuner being out of sync. It was good at one point, for about the first 1,2 days and all of sudden it went out of sync and it never worked in sync again. It is not my processor or computer because i have a dual core amd, and i have tried the "adjust the quality and make it lower" and that still doesn't work. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

    Thanks.

Usually, there are only two possibilities:

    1) update your driver for your capture card.

or, and most likely the cause

    2) your motherboard chipset drivers. Because what is happening for your audio to go out of sync is the mpeg data is being corrupted before it gets to the hard drive. I would also update the bios for the motherboard.

Give that a try. I had the same problem. Some recording would be in sync and some were not, and the chipset drivers were at fault.

I just thought of this: If you are using a raid setup and recording to it, update those raid drivers too.

I will try updating the bios, but i'm not talking about the recordings. Just when I watch live tv its a bit out of sync.
