When I stream with tversity to my xbox 360 and try to watch season 9 of bleach in japenese with eng subs I get nothing but a green screen. This usually does not happen but ever since I started trying to watch Bleach Season 9 all I get is sound and a green screen. I'm still able to stream all the seasons before that with no difficulties. I am also still able to view other movies/shows. Was wondering if anyone could help me fix this issue. Also the orginal format is avi, I have tried converting it to WMV and MP4 with no luck.
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to the help I have been receiving. @ Mondking I went along with your hunch and got a PAL to NTSC converter and stil no luck. I still have a feeling it has something to do with it being PAL so I'm going to keep investigating the problem. Do you know of anyway of finding out for sure if a video file is PAL or not? @ Jpizzle I have put the movie on a usb stick and when I tried to play it on my xbox 360 it stil shows up as a green screen. Its not a bad rip because it plays fine in VLC player on my comp and other japanese Bleach rips have the same green problem when streamed. Do you know of any other streaming program besides WMP or media center? THX for the help guys for trying to solve my problem. I hope we get this fixed so others can enjoy videos without having this problem.
Also, it shouldn't make a lick of difference whether it is PAL or NTSC when using tversity as it will make any necessary changes when it is transcoding the file.
Like I said before guys. I put it on a usb stick and tried to play it on the 360. That means I didn't not use a streamer or transcode it and it still had the green screen. It also is not a bad rip because it plays fine with VLC player and the green effect is not just that particular rip, It happens to all the japanese versions of bleach when I Tversity or a usb stick.
your best bet would be to run it through another program and re-encode it as avi again even if it is already avi. Atleast that way you can use the generic setting to re-encode it and it will piss off any messed up encoding that the original ripper has done.
Wow ok so today I deleted the vista codecs and keep the tversity ones just tried it through tversity and it work! But it still makes me wonder why it did not work with my usb but other movies worked with my usb.
