    Thanks for reply.
Checked that I had the correct keys.
Followed instructions for frequency change fix up to step 7, auto scan, but no channels were found. Could not exit out to scrambled /no signal screen, will only exit to options for, installation, user set up,factory settings and system info. (Parental control is in faint type and can't be entered).
    Any ideas?

what api is on your box!
check it by hitting menu, system info, and it should pop up in a box
Also is your starview called 'the box' or is it a previous model?

u will have to autoscan in your channels .
goto installation and press autoscan ( make sure u put your provider to the one u normally use ie, tw)
then exit out when it says **** channels found and go to parental control. when this is done let us know !

    Have auto scanned the channels.
When scanned, message comes up saying that "no channels have been found" and I can only exit back to installation.
I can't exit back to the screen saying bad or scrambled channel.

I think u are better off factory resetting again and flashing the receiver with the latest version of firmware, which is v4.00e
it can be found on the eko.4 link under my post !
goto starview, firmware, and its there..
