Total Newb as far as Linux is concerned and I just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for tweaking SuSE 10.1. Or any suggestions for that matter... *probably be my favorite thread
ok maybe not... See I know your thinking "look it up" and "there are manuals" but they tend to focus on general interest... Thats why I prefer asking in the forums you get a variety of answers... and on something like this I think I would rather hear a variety of answers... guess it will take a while for this one to build...
Ok, here's some advice : go get yourself a copy of "Linux all in one desk reference for dummies" by Naba Barkakati, it covers a bunch of distro's, but has specifics for SuSE and Fedora, as well as some others. It's widely available, and it's even possible to get yourself a digital copy. And don't let the title fool you, it's a good book.

Hey Skitzy, Have you had any luck playing mp3's, video, dvd's, last but certainly not least getting a wireless adapter to work. Let me know if you've had any luck, and I'll do the same. Here's a useful link I've found, however I can't get online because I'm on a wireless network. http://www.thejemreport.com/mambo/content/view/254/42/
