two hard drive problems

    Merry Christmas everybody!!!
    I'm having problems with my hard drives. my second hd won't show full capicity. My master drives shows 80gb which is correct but my slave drive only shows 33 instead of 120 gb. I have updated and flash my bios and still no luck. these are my specs. any help would be appreciated

    was d:drive originally fat32 & converted to ntfs in xp?

    don't remeber. My friend sold it to me. I just can't figure it out

    It sounds like a Windows update problem. Update to SP2 and then do the same with your motherboard's Bios. Please give it a try then provide us feed back?

    what do you mean do the same to the bios. sp2 is installed. do you mean flash the bios

    These hard disks have a jumper setting which can restrict the drive to 33GB.

    'The jumper setting acts as a 32GB clip which clips the LBA to 66055248. The CHS is unchanged from the factory default of 16383/16/63. Installing the 2GB/32GB capacity clip jumpers reduces the drive capacity to 33.8GB.'
