In backing up some movies lately, using Shrink to reauthor, I've notice that several of them have what appears to be the same movie data listed in both title 1 and title 2. They frequently have only a few bits of data difference. On one, I did notice that there were two different beginnings. Is there anything else about this I don't understand? If I can't see any difference, do I take title 1 or 2? thanks.

You are probably seeing the director cuts. I made the mistake of burning the largest and when I went to play it back I had the movie sure enough, but also had the actors and directors comments over the movie.

Preview each title in Shrink and burn the proper one.

That is what I will be doing from now on when I have two titles of similar size.

    Cheers.

In some instances there is a widescreen and standard format version of the movie on the disc, in others it could be alternate versions, endings, beginnings, etc. So if you cannot fit both onto a disc, then it up to you to decide which you would like.

Faster does not always mean better. There's an old gunfighter saying that states "ten shots fast and missed is still missed. One slow and steady on target is all you need."

    How it goin bud?

    Good to hear from you.
