All mpegs play fine on my computer except for 2 downloaded from the same source.

They play in Media Player Classic but not WMP or Realplayer - any ideas?

    TIA

I don't use Vista so can't help you there. I use Virtualdubmod and Gspot to check for the codecs used on particular video files.

To check the codecs installed on your PC, in Gspot go to View, Installed Codecs, Video and it should show you what codecs you have installed.

ffdshow might help in getting some problem mpeg files to play in certain software players.
