I have already Softmodded my Xbox and I really would prefer not to have to do so again.

My question is if AID will automatically install a softmod or if I can individually install emulators...?

Why? I already have UnleashX and I want Surreal64 on it, but there is no place on the interwebs with it.

I can FTP and burn discs. Whichever is needed. I have an AR too, so I can always put the installer on there if needed.

AID (Auto Installer Deluxe) will install the emulators you need from a pretty little menu and they will automatically become available on your UnleashX dash within the 'Application' folder

Okay, now tell me this: Am I able to use FTP to transfer the files or should I burn an ISO?

I've found FTP to be a hell of a lot easier.

Do you mean to FTP AID?

If you are installing them manually, you can FTP them, but I'd just burn the AID iso to a disc and let it install them for you!

I have a SONY CD-R disc. Hope it'll work because it's all I've got on me.

And I don't feel like spending 20 bucks for a bunch of DVD-R's which I won't use more than one of...
I want Surreal64 but the only place I can find it is from AID. And I can't use Xbins IRC channel because my router blocks it. :(
