both writers wont burn cd from music files. mitsumi-cr-4804te drve says no cd is inserted. memorex external dvd/cd writer wrutes and reads dvds but not cds. when trying to write cd it says no disk inserted. i use nero 6. try using window media player. says no disk in any of the drives.help
can your burn data CDs, or is it only audio CDs you can't burn. are your music files protected? Nero might not let you burn if they have DRM. try using new media...maybe you just have some coasters.
i used different media , wont burn data or music. wont copy cd. theres a clicking sound made on my internal writer. it flaskes a green light then orange , nothing else. data cd burn up to 50% then froze. music cd sometimes get up to 3%., then it fails/ i have downloaded different software with the same results. unistalled nero reinstalled. uninstall drivers ect, firware,
and does the same thing happen with your external burner? have you tried a different burning app besides nero? maybe some of the files you are burning are corrupt, i don't know. how old are the burners??
