$6.50 for a 10 pk of the single layer MBI. I'm half tempted to try out a 10 pk.

$63 for 100 Ty-G03 watershield. Not bad,if they had cheap shipping.

I see a lot of posts where people's looking for Full Hub inkjet DL media.

Saugmon, If you do ever get to try those out don't use your Benq 1650 to burn them. I have that burner also and these burners do not like this media (at least the DL's anyways, haven't tried the single layer MBI's. Others have indicated the same problem with Benq burners and MBI's. I have found that my Lite-On burns these nicely and NEC are ok. They do provide the best looking backup that I have seen and without that white outside edge as with the Ty Watershield. For a quality burn you can't beat the Ty's. On the printable quality side the MBI Aquashields IMO stand at the head of their class and they are + media that you can book type.

Anyone have trouble printing on these labels? When I print with my HP D5360 the rollers seem to leave marks on the disc, very annoying! The printer prints the matte finish lables fine but these labels it will not work right. Is it my printer or what? I called HP but they don't know anything. Should I return this printer and exchange it for the Epson RX595? It is $60 more and I do not need all the extra features. All I need is a good printer to print on DVD's. The other catch is that I have to buy it from Office Max because I have a gift card there.

    Thanks,

The WS's are still looking good. Still have the annoying outer white ring. I've never seen the HP disc printer, but sounds like it's crap along with anything else with the letters H&P.

Anybody notice that the Ink prices doubled for the R200/R300 series lately?

$125 for 48 carts for the last couple weeks. 2 yrs ago, they were $56 for the same 48 carts. The Epson's Lawsuit must be the culprit?

If you are having trouble printing on these discs I think that it is a problem with your HP printer. I have never had a problem using Epson CD printers. I'm not sure what other features you are looking for in a CD printer but the Epson R280 can be purchased for $79.99 at Epson.com. Ink has become a cost problem since Epson has gone after most of the online aftermarket ink company's that supplied suitable cartridges for much less. I have an older Epson R200, a R220 ,and an RX580. Thankfully I stocked up quite heavily on cartridges when they were dirt cheap. Not so lucky with the RX580 as I haven't found a reasonable source for cheaper ink so I don't use that printer for anything other than scanning. If unable to source out cheap ink I may have to try a continuous ink system for my RX580. Has anyone had any luck with a continuous ink system for their RX580?

I am also pondering the idea of CISS for my new RX595, what are the good ones out there that can be trusted?

I to am highly impressed with these. I have used the cd-r and dvd-r and both print like no other.

FYI: I printed these on a Epson R220 little older printer but does the job really well. Can find em on Ebay for cheap!!

Watershield CD-R <-- Thats where i got mine.

I found a company called taperesources.com though one of those freebie web pages that gives away one free TY watershield CDR. I filled out the form & they are sending me a sample!! The regular silver inkjet & white inkjet printables are fine for me. I just wanted to see how a watershield disc prints with my Epson RX 660.

If that Ty CD looks anything near their dvds, then you will be awed!!!!

Is that regular silver ty freebie reg hub, full hub,and inkjet printable?

The only thing that could possibly keep me from straying from the Ty watershields,is the Ty Full Hub shiny inkjet printables!!!! I haven't gotten my hands on any of those babies yet.

I was extremely disappointed in the TY watershield media.

I bought 50 a few months back. I printed on one and saved it to show a friend. A week later, while at a restaurant, I took a paper napkin and soaked it with water. I had zero problems getting the ink to run right off the surface. I didn't have to rub. Just got it wet and the ink ran.

Needless to say I was not very happy.

I've since used up the remaining batch of the 50. Because they are stored away in hanging folders, I do not expect them to get wet.

The printer used is the Epson R1800.

So much for the media being inkjet compatible. Certainly was not for me.

    1) The rules about signatures do not specifically ban links to personal web sites.

    2) The instructions right before the signature box say that http: links can be used, again with nothing said about no personal website links.
