Hey guys, I just want to know if there is anything different if I were to buy the 40GB or 60GB or 80GB PS3.....Any upgrades or Anything? Or is it just the Hard Drive Space thats Different.
40gb doesn't play ps2 games, 60gb plays them all, 80gb will play most of them and bigger HD. No SD/compact flash card inputs on the 40gb and only 2 usb ports. Get the 60gb if you can, 80gb if you cant get the 60.
ok ... is there any physical appearances between those 3 PS3's?.....also is there a way that u can make the 40Gb PS3 play all the PS2 Games the 80GB PS3 would play? or how does it work? THANX
The 40g lacks two usb ports available on the 80g. Appearence wise they're pretty much the same. No, there is no way to play PS2 games on the 40g. It's missing the emulator that makes that possible.
Yes. The 40g will play most PS1 games, but nil on the PS2 games. The 80g will play most of both, though Sony has stated they cannot claim full backward compatibility.
