TY's won't burn lower than 12x?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? WTF?!?!

    Why can people not make software/hardware/media that does what it says on the package? I really don't understand that. My TY +R 8x won't burn lower than 12x, and my Verbs won't go less than 4x.

    I don't WANT to burn this fast as I want as FEW errors as possible.

    Can someone please help me out cuz this is really starting to piss me off.

    yea more or less, i am not to concerned about it anymore.... 4x is low enough i guess :p

    I didn't really find an answer per se, but just pretty much a "thats the way it is".... but if you have any better an explanation I am defintely interested.
