U.S. PS3 Preorders

simply not possible for them to have sold and shipped any ps3s on sept 14th. that whole "sept 14th" shipping date really ought to say something about the validity of the company. i am not saying that anyone who preordered won't get their system, but its something i'd stay pretty far away from. just my 2cents

 

So is there any legit places actually taking the pre orders?


and what is this i hear the us is only getting a total of 100,000 on launch

Although it seem's that people are still uncertain but they will probably be taking pre-oder's soem time next month.

 

i also preodered 3 ps3's from netdropshipper mid august. Rick james have you heard anything on the ship dates or anything? I am having a hard time hearing back from them on the whole ordeal. thanks

seems like you may be another victim. i generally stay away from unkown online retailers, but i am not sure why you preordered from there to begin with. was it soley because they were one of the few sites offering preorders? was this a place you ordered things from before. i never heard of them nor did any digging on them, so i have no idea if they are legitimite.

on a side note i called my F.Y.E. today that i placed a preorder with back in june. i found outi am number 5 on their list, but the manager failed to explain if i was number 5 inline for the 60gig model or overall. i'll assume i'm number 5 overall as he laughed a few times and told me i had little to worry about and stood pretty good ground in getting a unit. he reassured me people have all day to claim their preorder that day, but i'll be there first thing. he also said they are going to bundle this which i am not thrilled about, but oh well. that makes me number 5 at f.y.e. and number 4 at gamestop, i may be greedy and camp too, but still uncertain.

 

i may be a victim? i have done business with them before no problem. I would just like to hear from rick james to see if he has heard anything. thanks

indicating that you too may be on the short end of the stick. like i said i never heard of them, but if you did prior business and know they are legit then good luck. i find it hard to believe that any reputable company wouldn't respond to either emails or phone calls, assuming what you said here

you are implying that you have made efforts to recently contact them in some manner...

 

yea ive done business with them in the past no problem. I dont know if they are busy cause of the up coming holiday season or what but havent been returning my emails. Anyway worse case scenario i call me card provider and make a chargeback. I would rather have them shipped to me on the 17th here and list them on ebay and make some money though.
