whenever I start up Ubuntu and it gets to the login screen, the screen is off center. The box where you type in your username and password is down to the right off of the screen. I have to blindly type in my username and pass. Not really a problem...but it just bugs me ha any way to fix it?

Yeah.. go look on the ubuntu forms.. It's been "solved" over 400 times.

Welcome to linux RTFM world... where help comes to those who aren't too lazy to look before asking.

Sounds very strange considering the installer when fine, it uses all the same drivers etc. Try turning it off at the wall, and if that doesn't work, try reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, take the question over to the official Ubuntu forums.

And rather than hijacking multiple threads started by other people, just start your own.
