ufl maxv v20 proplem plz (Solved)

hi when igo to flash eurovox maxv when i press start it comes up with com 1&2 flashing then it gives me an opption if i want to down load the firmware in boot mode ihave 2 boxes the first one flashed ok i also read on the forum some ware that the new boxes need to be up dated and ihave done as some of you say and downloaded the sofware again and still get the same prop

Have you got a null modem cable? are you also using a USB adaptor? what operating system are you running, reason you have had no reply is because you need to give more detail. Try again.

 

so sorry about that yes i have null modem cable and its windows xp pro can under stand why it works on one and not the other i think the box is missing some think it only 3 mounths old flash must of worked because its up dating is self now it took about 5 attemps to load the channels on thanks for the reply

 

So your saying you have done one and thats working and are trying to do your other which is a Max V but it wont take the firmware, am I right so far?

Press Menu Config, System info and type back whats in there.

Whats your other box? is that a max V aswell? if so try a box to box transfer,

NEXT PUT ONE BOX ON TO THE TV THEN WHEN YOU HAVE THAT DONE CONNECT YOUR NULL MODEM CABLE TO IT THEN PLUG THE OTHER BOX INTO THE ELECTRICITY

THEN CONNECT THE OTHER END OF THE NULL CABLE TO THE BOX YOU ARE GOING TO TRANSFER THE DATA TO

NEXT GO TO ON (THE MAIN BOX) MENU > CONFIG > SYSTEM INFORMATION > PRESS OK ON THIS THEN PRESS 1968 ON REMOTE THIS WILL BRING UP THE SECRET

SCREEN WHICH SAYS SET - TO -SET DOWNLOAD IN HERE YOU PRESS PROGRAM CODE DOWNLOAD AND JUST WAIT FOR IT TO FINISH AND YOU SHOULD BE SORTED THEN

MAKE SURE WHEN YOU ARE DOING THE TRANSFER THE BOX IS IN STANDBY MODE FIRST

you have done a good job m8t it took a long time for the penny to drop so what you are saying is when i flash the good box transver the dater to the other one is that right

 

If its the same box yes. If it doesn't work out come back.
