Hi every one, this is my first treat...

    I'm new on the DVD-RW world !!!

I have a Sony Video Camera, and use Ulead VideoStudio 9 to download video to my computer (fire wire cable)... i get .AVI files on my computer ready for DVD burning.

I burned my first DVD with a video of a weading i went, everything look ok, but when i go to my Sony DVD Player, 1 & 4 region(stand alone DVP-NS575P)... i get an error message, it says that the DVD can't be played for zone limits.

I'v been looked for REGION on Ulead software but can't seem to find it.

I tryed it with 2 diferente BRAND of DVD, Samsung DVD+RW & Pengo DVD-RW and got the same error.

What can i do, or what can this error be for??

    Thanks a lot

I use Ulead VideoStudio too. I'd need to know your exact procedures so as to see if you skipped any steps.

You have the .AVI file downloaded from the videocamera. What did you do then? Did you edit it? Did you create a project (.VSP) file? Did you then "Create new video file / Same as project settings"?

Did you then render this new .AVI file (with your titles and changes) into an .MPEG-2 ? Etc.

Get back to us on this. Happy to help you, and VS does great work, but you do have to follow the rules. (Sorry if you are way more advanced than this.)

    1. I download the VIEDO (.avi)
    2. Add video to a New Project...
    3. Edit it
    4. Go to Share
    5. Create Disc
    6. DVD
    7. Add menus
    8. BURN to DVD

    Everything on ULEAD.
