Hey fellow afterdawn people! Below is a list of questions i have been god wanting to know these questions, some more then others, for a long time, and made this list. Greatly apprciate it, thanks!





1.will the psp's screen ever die, because it is lcd?



2.how long will it take to burn a psp screen through



3.how many feet approx. will a wireless router go?



4.if we can edit the digital world ( etc. hex editors), why cant we do it to the real world?



5.how much does a psp game ( case and umd) take to make ?



6.will the earths mass ever change? density?



7.can you break down any compound? ( to only the basic elements)




8.what exactly is a LightScribe DVD/CD writer? whats so special about it?



9.In your opinon, do you think there will ever be a console where you can actually change the graphics card?



10.Is going on the iternet on a neighbors wireless iternet connection legal as long as you dont acces any of his resources?



11.Is the VuGO any good ( if you have ever heard of it)




12.Why wont a burnt socom2 dvd not go online?



13.is it possible to break ( or brick) a dvd player by putting some kind of ''fake firmware updater'' to break the dvd player?




14.Ok, you know a color tv can watch black and white signals. But can a black and white tv watch color tv signals?( and of course itd be in black and white, but could it just watch the signals?)



15.what is the diffrence between linux and unix?



16.why cant consoles use usb flash drives for the memory cards? why would they not want to do that? Its so much easier!


17.Is it true paper can really be made out of elephant poop?


18.If you want to make a machine that creates endless energy, but according to the patent office you cant get a patent for it, can you still attempt to make it? ( do you all even remember that??)


19.what are dvd's made of? plastic?


20.how does sony imprint the sony logo on the backside of the dvd ?(where the data is, its on the new sony ps2 games)

23. Ok, this is going to be hard to explain. Ok, you know pudding is made from milk. Well, does that mean the sugar in pudding is healthy ( because the sugar in milk is healthy)?




24.In the G. world book of records, it is said that the most cost effective commercial was a super-bowl commercial for apple about IBM being taken over by a new machine- the Mac. Anyone know where i can get this to watch? I tried googling many keywords, but couldnt find the right keyword 9 (or i was unlucky).





25.Oh, i have been wanting to know this for a while. Ok, you know DVD-Ram. Well, exactly how can the data be wrote over and and over? How?!?!?!

In answer to question 1 yes the psp screen will eventually die.

q2. if your using a flamethrower it wont take very long at all ;P

q14. yes black and white tvs can still tune into any tv station and watch colour programs in black and white

q15. ive only ever played with linux so cant help here

q16. because the companies make a whole load more money selling there own memory cards that only work specifically on one console and they would lose a lot if they had it all as a standard usb drive

q18. you can still make it you just cant complain when the government come and steal it off you and then pass a new law saying that you can patent it

q19. the plastic bits of dvds are made of plastic the bit you write to is some sort of foil

q23. The sugar in puddings made from milk doesnt come from the milk it is added. sugar isnt unhealthy so long as eaten sensibly

q25.ever heard of rewritable cds and dvds that can be wrote over time and time again. im only guessing but id say its similar to that

If the point of this thread is to post something thought provocative which is legally acceptable on AD, but is in fact a faux pas then I guess this was a successful exercise. It's really glorified spam which flies under the radar of AD. Not being disrespectful to the Panic567 because I know that he didn't create these questions. But are they really useful. It's not like there is only one or a few questions that we can have a lighthearted discussion about but instead a deluge of disconnected ideas. I know that the Safety Valve exists for light hearted discussions but please correct & forgive me if I'm wrong, but I vaguely recall a previous thread with the same title as stated in question 4. I can't recall the details of it's reception, but I don't think that it was well received. There's no full moon out presently nor am I 'in a mood'. This is in fact my first post in which I have questioned the essence of a post. It is certainly not my intention to be malicious. I see that Darth also questioned the validity of this thread, but being the benevolent individual that he is, gave it a nod, with a humorous disclaimer.

Did i ever say these are usefull? If you look at my opening paragraph, i say i have been wanting to know these for a long time. Also i put in the safety valve

i mean, im only 14 for gods sake! how am i supposed to know all these?? However you dont have to treat me like a dumb idiot because i have learned much more then you think,i have succesfully fixed the dnas of a game manually ( without the help of the automatic ones made by ps2nfo.com) burned it on a dvd and run it off a slidecard,I have also shrunk a dvd9 to a dvd, a dvd to a cd,i have made a divx avi video to a dvd compatible format then burn it with a legal copy of nero 9 ,i have run homebrew on my psp, gone on the iternet on my psp on version 1.50, learned some html, ripped a UMD to a 512 mb memory stick, then run it on my psp again, get the copy protection off dvd's and burn the dvd without copy protection, i have unlocked lost levels in a game ( tony hawks underground) that were supposed to be released in that game but never finished by using a hex editor.....


even though im 14! and im still the coolest freshman in high school! Im not rich, i got a psp for only 100 dollars, to!


everyone still thinks the psp takes photos when i show them pictures on my psp, heh

Since I'm several years senior to Panic567 I thought it prudent not to engage in a debate with him over this thread. Not that I had any doubt Mik3h, but it's reassuring to see that even in youth their is still maturity & discretion being exercised.
