i think the psp 3000 comes with 4.20 firmware. and its NOT hackable......YET! it has the ta-090 which is what the slim has but a little different. if sony was smart enough they should have left the ta mobo thats not hackable
Yeah, but the new PSP-3000 version of the TA-090 is sorta like a TA-090 v2, with hardware updates preventing Pandora further than the TA-088v3, I think. But you're right, the TA-088v3 mobo's software patch was more effective....But maybe the 3000 has that too? Time will tell. I installed this 5.00 on my slim....that's been collecting dust anyway....And the PS Store is surprisingly snappy. Almost as fast as this computer....But downloads are WAY too long....Since there's the download time, and then an install time, which I'm clueless to the purpose of, that takes about 5 minutes. Also disappointing is the QWERTY keyboard isn't default. You have to switch keyboards for a while, before it pops up. Even more confusing is it takes different numbers of presses of the Select button to make it pop up, depending on what you're doing.
