I am new to computers, and have been burning dvd's using Nero 7 for the last 6 months. Usually I click add file and it shows me a list of all my programs, but now I am clicking it and a little "open file" box opens up, but I can't seem to access any files through it. Can anybody offer some advice? I would greatly appreciate it. thanks

what kind of files are you trying to add? what Nero program are you using (Nero burning rom, Nero Vision, Nero Recode, etc)? You might be trying to add NON SUPPORTED FILES for the wrong Nero program!

Thanks 4 your reply. I am using Nero Vision. Up until a few days ago, I would select "add files" and it would automatically go to my files, I would then choose my documents, then azureus downloads - no problems ever. I'm not sure what i've done to change this, but now it opens a box labelled "open" and asks me to choose a file name and a location. I have tried all sorts of entries, but nothing seems to work. any ideas?

when you hit ADD VIDEO FILES (1) this OPEN "box", as you call it, appears and you can navigate (3) to where your files are, only ones that are supported (2)! this is normal for Nero Vission. If your files don't show up on the screen, after you navigate to where it is on your computer, means that it is NOT supported and won't be able to add it to Nero Vision! Remember, this is for VIDEO FILES. If you are making a DATA DVD then use Nero burning rom!
