I have Nero 7.2.3.2, Windows XP Professional, ASPI 4.71, Lite-On DVDRW LDW 451S burner. I am simple trying to burn Data (photos from vacation, .jpeg files) onto a CD-R using Nero. When I click "Burn" after selecting the files, the Burner ejects the CD-R before starting the burn process.
In Device Masnager, it says the unit is working properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

try an older version of nero, alot of people including myself have had problems with the newer versions. i use 7.0.1.4b. if u decide to do this delete the current version and save your product key and go here to try this one... http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?662

Uninstalled, then removed traces of NERo & then reinstalled version you recommended.
Still same problem. After selecting files, then "Burn", the DVD Burner ejects the disk. Nero asks "Please insert disk for burning".

@ gwen no i havent had the fist problem, and get this i recently installed 7.2.3.2b on my oldest daughters pc and havent had the first problem yet.ill let u know how it goes. @thira have u got the latest firmware for ur burner? if ur using the trial version of nero and havent paid for it yet then u might want to try roxio. beware though nero and roxio can cause problems when installed on the same pc.so u might have to go with one or the other.if u have already paid for it then contact nero. u could always try nero 6 but ur product key might not work , i think gwen has a link for it.

Go to Nero StartSmart, info tools, drivers, it will give you your burner details including firmware.
