I have been having issues with backing up movies on Dual Layer disks... I have only gotton 1 complete burn and that was in DVDFab in CLONE mode but was un playable unless loaded on PC,everything else fails.DVD 5's are always successful. I have tried DVDFab,DVD Decrypter,DVD shrink,Nero,DVD copy and all programs are the latest versions.. Does anyone have ideas what i'm doing wrong? Your media is spot on, so try this: Rip with DvdFab and use Imgburn to burn the file. Also set booktype to DVD-ROM as Zoso suggested. If it fails, post the burn log.
I tried ripping with DVDFab.. process failed task 2 failure code was 500.. this was full disk mode,with book type dvd-rom checked.. I have successfully done it in clone mode but its very picky about the dvd player,also i tried the cyberlink power producer software that came with the burner,it also worked in clone,yet is picky about the player. For some reason i cant optain a good ISO rip from the disk.. I also have had a problem burning DL's when I play them on my standalone they go to about chapter 9 and they just freeze.
