Hi, I am trying to backup data. My DVD writer is [bold]Toshiba ,Type Dvd-r,Media used is verbatim[/bold]. I have tried all kinds of media but I am unable to burn. Iwould update to this version of Nero http://httpdl2.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe you can obtain latest firmware from here http://www.toshiba-europe.com/storage/products/Drivers/SDR5112_1034 I would try the Nero and firmware updates and see how things go, good luck.
