my movie file name is of type "filename(SKVCD).mpg"

but when i tried to add the file before burning, it displays an error message:

The file is not VCD-compliant and will b re-encoded.

The main thing is, after i click OK, nothing happens and nero automatically closes. So how do i burn this file as a vcd? I thought .mpg files can be burned in vcd format easily?

Hope someone can help me! Thanks!

dont use nero express to burn the s/kvcd, u have to use the normal burning-rom, and when the message pops up about not being a standard compliant vcd, click the option to create a non-standard vcd.

also remember that s/kvcd's only play on a selected few dvd-players so make sure your player is listed here: http://www.kvcd.org/portal/articles.php?lng=en&pg=19 . if not your gonna have to re-encode anyway which will worsen the already pretty shoddy quality.
