First thing, edit out your serial number I would upgrade to latest version of Nero from here http://httpdl2.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18.exe The recommended minimum amount of RAM is 512meg so I would consider adding another 256meg, in the meantime do not multitask while burning, turn of spyware I do not know these discs but your burner doesnt like them, try some Verbatim or Sony that are made in japan again a media error. Your firmware is current so it's the crappy media.
thank you for ur suggestion but i had found out the solution to the pblm. What I did is I just burned the disk with 4.2GB of data only instead of burning data on the complete disk. even though 300Mb of DVD space is wasted it could be neglected as without that I could not even burn a disc, i have already wasted 2 DVD discs in that process. [bold]THE TYPE OF THE DISC IS NOT AT ALL A PROBLEM [/bold] once again thank you. bye.
I am having the same problem burning mixed data on Maxell DVD+R media using the SONY DVD RW DW-g120A. It will read and write on the regular blank CD's however, I can not burn on on DVD media period. Can anyone help me? I'm an entry level burner, so please provide info in steps. Very frustrated since I've reviewed some of the remarks on this burner. No wonder it was on sale for $35.00 marked down from $78.00. Thanks,
