I'm trying to make a bootable CD from O/S files in a folder on my HDD. This is a 'Lite' version of XP Corp (stripped of the bloat).
I use Nero V6.6 and for the life of me I can't figure out how to make a iso file to burn to a CD.

I did this before (a few years ago) but can't figure it out. A couple other programs allow making a iso file from a CD, but not from files on a HDD.

Open the files with dvdshrink and this will do it for you. When you press the backup button, select target and select iso.

I can't honestly give you an answer to that, give it a try. Then once the iso is created, test it out and try burning to a cd. Just double click the iso image and nero burning rom will open up. See if either dvd or cd burning option pops up.
