unable to fully playback captured streaming video

    I use SDP multimedia to record streaming video from the internet, however when I play it back on any application inc win media player it stops after 5 mins. (It records in .asf ext) Please can anyone help?

    WMV and ASF Files are extremely Prone to Corruption and errors because of the extremely High Compression but there is a way you can try to Fix them....

    There is a Program called "ASF Tools" that can scan the File for errors and Fix errors in the File and even Make it so the File is Seekable....

    I would also say that the stream may be corrupt from the server, or you may have just got a bad download this one time. There are also many other recorders that you can use. SDP is a good one for Windows Media streams, but there are other good ones as well. Maybe just downloading it again with a different streaming media recorder would solve the problem.
