I have downloaded adobe reader from both adobe.com and download.com and everytime I go to install it, I get a message saying "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel" I click Ok and then another box says "Last error: 1155" and then click Ok then the last box says "Unable to launch AOM File. CreateProcess return code: 14935620" How can I get this fixed?

remove all reference to adobe reader out of programs & use regedit to check in the registry
