    Good Day guys,
Here's all the error messages I'm getting while trying to install the card:

First. when I boot my PC I see my Video card on the Upper Left corner of the screen.

Then when the install New Hardware Wizard comes up. I clik next, I give the path to the driver & clik next. I see some file being copied but when it finishes I get the following ERROR:

    CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARDWARE
THERE WAS A PROBLEM INSTALLING THIS DEVICE
    NVIDIA GEFORCE 6200
AN ERROR OCCURED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE

    THE PARAMETER IS INCORRECT

I then get a pop up at the bottom right saying:

AN ERROR OCCURED DURING THE INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE
YOUR NEW HARDWARE MIGHT NOT WORK PROPERLY

Then from the ADD HARDWARE WIZARD I get:

THE DEVICE IS NOT CONFIGURED CORRECTLY (CODE 1)

Hope this helps... That's the best I can describe my problem here...

I think I removed it but How do I see if I still have some Old driver in there ? Is there a tool out there that removes them for sure?

    Good Day,

The driver is from Nvidia Web site: V78.01.
I tried to install it with the new Add Hardware Wizard. I also tried to install it just by installing the driver. I also tried with the driver from the installation CD.

sounds like you have an IRQ error, try moveing your soundcard up or donw to a diffrent PCI slot you mite have to move someother cards around too.Dose your mainbord support 8X AGP and is it setup in the BOIS. Is the videocard able to run at 4X AGP.Also check to see what Direct X you are runing for service pack 2 it should be Direct X 9.0B or higher for the driver you are useing .Allso check to see if you have all updates for mainbord. Some older SIS and INTEL chipsets have updates to run newer Gforce cards. P.S.most of the drivers that come whith video card are old.have had good luck with the 66.something driver for old mainbords.

So what happens if you just click on the drivers exe file instead of going through the hardware wizard?
