Unable to upgrade software on eurovox

Please Help
When I select download com 1 comes up and there is a clicking noise from the box. When I press start the following message comes up The receiver was not detected if you want to download the firmware in the boot mode click ok button below and ac power on your receiver with com 1 selected below. When I press ok I get the message waiting for the responce of your receiver with the clicking noise still coming from the box. I am using a null cable modem and have changed the bit second rate on the com 1 port to 128000. I would very much appreciate any help given

 

What model of Eurov0x have you got and what firmware are you using to update it ?

 

Model DUB-XC Box TDA S/W VER 1.0 STC4 Mar 15 2007 H/W Ver 2.0T Mar 2007 Bootstrap V002. The firmware is version 2.10 from the UFL MAXV KURO3 18 4 08 DN UP MAN MFC APPLICATION

 

you dont need dnupman to download the firmware its an all in one loader,ie,18/04 kuro,just press download on the loader

 

Can you explain where I can access the 18/04 kuro. I only know how to go into the mediafire site and download UFL_MAXV_KURO3_18_04_08zip which is the dnupman loader. I need to know the process of accessing and downloading the non dnupman firmware and loader 18/04 Kuro. I appreciate your help, Thanks.

 

go to eamo's library under my pic,then go to the eurovox folder you will find the unified loader in the firmware folder.Also you will need winrar to open it.

 

I have went to eamos library clicked on the eurovox folder and then clicked on the max firmware folder but I do not know which folder to open after that to find the unified loader

Thanks for your help, I have go into the link and downloaded the UFL_MAXV_KURO3_18_04_08 DNUPMAN MFC APPLICATION. However I still get first the message This firmware is not fit for your receiver and then when i x out and try again I get the message waiting for the responce of your receiver. I think maybe I have a clone if this is the case is there anything I can do. Again thanks for your patience and help

Thanks for your help, I was able to sucessfully download the software, I done a power scan using the symbol rate 6.887 and after that when i try to do the auto scan I get the message no transponder to scan

 

power scan should be suffice and no need for autoscan,have you all your connections securely fixed ie coaxil into rf in on the box and scart into tv scart on the box,also make sure there isn't a cc problem inyour area.
