Can any one tell me why I cannot view video clips.
I downloaded a film from the net which was in 6 parts and were Rar files, I opened each file and finished up with 6 uncompressed files.
When I try to play these files in Windows Media Player, I get shown at the bottom of the screen the following 3 messages one after the other.

    Connecting
    Sending request for Codec
    Error downloading Codec

I then get the Audio but not the Pictures.

Can any one help me out here I think I am missing some kind of plug in if that is the case could you tell me what it is where to get it and where to install it.
Very easy for all you clever people out there but not for me any help would be very much appreciated

    TIA Numinbah

That codec package has saved my skin many times... it's unvaluable indeed!

Yes, K-Lite also comes with some very useful tools (e.g. fixing avi errors). Do check them out when you have time.

    Happy DVD burning!
