You will need another non Orange sim.

[bold]Please read ALL of the instructions below before you start.See the "Note:If nothing happens." below.[/bold]

Did you check with IMEI: *#06# ,Firmware Version: *#0000# .

    Nokia:6230
    IMEI:353767002207121
    Network:Orange
    Country:UK

    [bold]Is this correct?[/bold]

If you know the risks, try this [bold]ONCE and ONLY ONCE[/bold] and let us know if it works. You have only 3 to 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It will still work on your Network so no big loss.

    #pw+386146207403357+7#

Remove sim first, power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
    Press * 3 times fast for (p) \
Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
    Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

    [bold]IMPORTANT!![/bold]
Verify code before pressing the last #.
Pay attention. You only heve about two seconds.

[bold]Note:If nothing happens.[/bold] Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim.[bold] Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does, reset the security code to default 12345.[/bold] Insert a non accepted SIM and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", select the UNDO option, then enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER.

    "Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.[bold]STOP[/bold] tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

[bold]DO let us know if this works.[/bold]
Help us provide a better service.

I have another sim card alsoand it asks me for restriction code when i press undo..

Would it not be better to do it this way with new sim card in rather than pressing hash key when there is no sim in on "insert sim" screen?

    Thanks for your kind help

ok.. did what u said and it came up with "phone restriction off" !! Nice 1 m8

Strangly thought it seems to think my phone memory is full now and I have a strange "?" in the middle of the screen? But I only get this when i insert the original orange sim which I intend on still using every so often as well as new sim.

    Can u advise?

    James

I don't know. Lets try to get some more information.

    Is the T-Mobile sim NEW?

If the T-Mob sim IS new, has it been activated?

Clean the contacts in the mem carc and the SIM.

Do you have any security codes on the phone?

Do you have another Mem card to try?

hey my freind.. I have been trying a brand new sim (virgin) but not the t mobile 1 as i have not ordered it yet.

I have cleaned the contacts but is still doing it.. basically the phone says full on internal memory save to external card? soo it seems to be working ok.. strange though that the internal has suddenly become full since performing this excorcise (spelt wrong).

I have a pin code that i am using whach is . Is this ok to use for both sims?
