I've never used Final Cut Pro so i figured you guys might know...a friend called and he needs to render an "uncompressed quicktime movie"
    - in Final cut Pro he says it has two options #1: "Save as QuickTime Movie" and #2: "Save as Compressed QuickTime Movie" - if he renders using the #1 method will it be an uncompressed quicktime movie?

first off let me give you my sympathies for having to use a Mac and Final Cut Pro...

When you select save as a quicktime movie, it should be completely uncompressed, but check...there will probably be several options. when selecting save as compressed QT, you will have even more options. you can export it with DV encoding, or MPEG-4 encoding, and I think there's also an option to just click uncompressed. So check both, but in either one there should be an option for uncompressed.
