uncorrectable errors

    I keep trying to decrypt a disc with dvd decrypter and it won't finish it says that there is an uncorrectable error, what does this mean and what should i do for it?

    Turn the disk over and see if there are any heavier then normal scratches of finger prints. If this is a kids disk, it might be damaged. You can try a lite (no lint or paper) damp cloth for cleaning.

    The disc is brand new and there is no scratches, now what?

    Make sure you have the last version of Decrypter - 3.5.4.0. If it didn't work after cleaning it you may have a bad press and will need to exchange for a new one.
    As of now - imho - if Decryter can't rip it nothing can.
    BTW - what movie is it?

    I have decrypter 3.5.4 and the movie is boogeyman.

    Make sure your firmware on your drive is up to date. It may help but I think you have a bad press and should exchange it.
    I was able to do this movie with AnyDVD and Recode. However if the disc is bad they probably won't work either.
