A long time ago I used DivX 6.x.x to make "fake" DVD's: Multiple movies with a selectable menu playable through that DivX player on a PC all in a single .divx file. I'd like to recover the individual movies in the file, but tools like TMPGEnc and players only acknowledge the first movie; the others remain hidden.
Just as a check, I did re-install DivX player 6.8.2 and, sure enough, the menu and all the movies are there (4), everything works fine, but I can't seem to separate these movies back into individual files.
Any way to get these back?

Try opening the divx file in VirtualDub.
Scrub through the file and mark the start and end of the first clip.
Set 'Video > 'Direct stream copy' and 'File' > 'Save as avi'.
Once it's saved, press the 'Del' key to remove that part from the editor then repeat the procedure for subsequent clips.
