Nero has been working fine - I made the mistake of allowing it to update, and now I get the following error almost immediately after starting a data dvd burn. Here's the log: Many thanks for any help you may be able to provide. Run the Nero InCD Clean Tool and get rid of InCD. It's a real troublemaker. http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/InCD_CleanTool.html If that doesn't solve the problem you might want to try going back to version 7.0.8.2. http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845
Many thanks for your help! Removing INCD didn't work - however, I removed Nero 7. It took a couple of steps - the uninstaller came up with an error, and even the clean program hung (though it removed all the files. So I ran Registry Mechanic, andit found all the orphaned registry entries from Nero and removed them. Then I took your advice and installed version 7.0.8.2, and it works like a charm! I continue to be an AfterDawn fan! Joe
