I used to play .rm files okay and then I installed the GOM player just for a test. It works okay but I didn't like the way it runs to the internet every time I start it up. So I uninstalled it. Now my .rm files won't play in Media Classic or any of the other players I've got.

Could I ask advice on which player I should run, which codec pack I should install and keep updated and, lastly, is there anything that checks .rm files and can repair them if corrupt (there always was one that wouldn't play).

    regards,

    ab :)

Aren't .rm files from that crap Real Player? Use Real Player to play them.
