I used to play .rm files okay and then I installed the GOM player just for a test. It works okay but I didn't like the way it runs to the internet every time I start it up. So I uninstalled it. Now my .rm files won't play in Media Classic or any of the other players I've got. Could I ask advice on which player I should run, which codec pack I should install and keep updated and, lastly, is there anything that checks .rm files and can repair them if corrupt (there always was one that wouldn't play). regards, ab
An alternative is the "real alternative " package, which installs the codecs and MPC to play the files. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm
