Okay, so I uninstalled both Internet Explorer 7.0 and MSN Messenger Live. However, they're still both kind of on my computer.

Internet Explorer has been uninstalled, but there is still Internet Explorer 6.0. I went to the Add/Delete Programs thing, but I couldn't find how to uninstall it.

As for MSN Messenger, I did uninstall MSN Live Messenger, but an older version of MSN messenger is still installed. Same thing, nothing shows up in the Add/Delete programs thing.

How do I get rid of these programs?

In fact, there are a whole bunch of programs I installed and could never completely get rid of. Like, Nero, and some other programs. There are still a bunch of folders and files for these programs. Can I just do a search for this things and delete them manually?

What's a good way of cleaning my computer of these useless files?

when you go to add/remove programs, on the right you will see add/remove windows components, uncheck MSN and IE. this is as close to removing them as you can get with out a hack. somebody else may have more info for you

I uninstalled msn messenger in add/remove programs, and msn was removed, but when I checked the program files, msn folder is still there. So I tried the tip I read, start/run, then enter a code...it worked, msn folder was removed from program files, but some folders (My received files and My sharing folder) are still in My documents...how should I remove this? Is it okay if I just delete them? I wanna install msn again, so I should erase everything completely first. (the reason I uninstalled is because there were some problems)

Help is very much appreciated! ^_^
