hmm... i want to un-install this program but cannot chose to remove the security center as i get this message

Anyway, check out this link found at McAfee. http://ts.mcafeehelp.com/faq3.asp?docid=71525 If all else fails, I would simply delete all of the program files and directories. Then I would CAREFULLY run regedit to manually remove all entries relating to McAfee programs. This tactic require some care and confidence on your part. Don't do it unless you are familiar with the regedit commands!
