i recently installed nero 7 on my vista laptop. it didnt work because it is not compatiable. so i then tried to install nero 8 but it comes up with an error saying it cannot uninstall the previous edition. windows stops working and an internal error comes up: custom action DLL crashed on last call function NeroAg_unregisterComEx. the installer must now exit. crash thread ID 2140 current Thread 7700 i tried manually uninstalling it by going into uninstall programs but still the same problem. i also try to insert the original cd to uninstall but the same problem. so basically i am now stuck with a nero that doesnt work on my computer and with out the possibility to install the new version. the only way i see that i can get rid of nero 7 is to reboot my laptop but i am not keen on the idea please can someone help thanks
Download and run Nero 7 clean tool from the link below. http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-cleantools.html Reboot and run Ccleaner, then reboot again. Nero should be off of your PC now.
