Guys, does anyone know how to uninstall windows 7 ultimate 32bit from a single boot drive?
i'm trying to install windows vista red edition upgrade 64bit,that
i purchased from the internet and made a dvd from 3 downloads(X14-63453.exe,install.wim, and boot.wim).
I could'nt install it over windows 7,i could'nt even install windows xp over windows 7."boot from cd" won't work.
I installed EasyBCD.exe to remove the entry from the windows 7 bootloader, and booted up the computer with the Gparted live CD,to wipe the drive.it still did not work.it crashed actually.
There's got to be a way to properly uninstall windows 7.
    any clues? thanks.

Don't know but have a look here: http://www.killdisk.com/ I read of it being used to zero out drive's, in case a virus embedded itself below Window's, to an as new state.

Also a fixmbr/fixboot will get rid of the nonstandard bootloader information in the MBR.
