Hello, I recently acquired a Marantz universal player and when I turn the unit on, there is sometimes a little skipping but the main problem is when I turn the machine on it won't read most of the CD's I put in it, but strangely when the unit has been on for an hour or so I have alot more success with the discs loading. Once a CD loads it plays fine but it is very temperemental which CD's it will load. It loads SACD, DVD and DVD audio problem free. Any help would be greatly appreciated. PS, all the discs I have trouble loading are clean and scratch free, so it is definitely a player issue
Definitely not dirty,has been cleaned, it may be the latter. Does anyone know where I could buy a replacement?
