Unknown Codec.. Anyone?

    Any clues as to how I can watch this recent download?

    It says it's 'XviD'.
    If WMP won't play it, maybe the codec isn't installed on the PC.
    Down-load 'VLC' (has self contained codecs) and try playing it with that.

    Well I appreciate that and I do have a codec pack and a number of media players, but its obvious to me now that this is just one bad old torrent file- I reckon its currupt. Thanks again for yr response

    having a codec pack installed doesnt mean much at all!

    as mentioned try VLC its free, it will let you know if its playable and if your "codecs pack" isnt working...
