What kind of cd? Have you already flashed your chip? Or are you trying to flash from a dvd like a slayers program? What bios are you trying to flash with? Try to post as much info as possible so we can help ya.
i'm using a cd-rw from acer and a cd-r from office depot. and also a dvd-rw from hp. bios is a x24977 I haven't flashed my chip yet. I'm at the stage where it ask for a cd with the bios update on it. I'm not using slayers program unless you can give me a link. I'm using x2bios manager and nero 6.0 and i have that xio maker also and the dummy file creator. Is there anything i left out?
A slayers program would probably fix your problem. I had corrupted my executor2 bios.(don't ask how) And my xbox would just frag, so I borrowed a friends slayer disc and it loaded everything I needed incuding the m7 bios which I'm using now. As for where you get the slayers program, I have no idea. Check older threads.
