i just bought a sansa e250 and did the firmware update and what now but after i put some songs into the player there are only 9 songs out of 30 that are able to play. the other 20+ are label as "Unknown" and will not play. i did a some search on the internet for some hlep but it seems as though it is not helping. if anybody have any idea to help me out that would be great thanks.
sansas are not very picky. Are these files with an mp3 extension? If they are where did you get them? If they may have come from a dubious source they might be nasty files ment to attack your computer. If they have mp3 extentions and you have played them on your computer I would be worried that your computer has been hijacked for dark purposes. P2P networks like LimeWire are loaded with nasty files built to enslave your compure to do tasks for a hacker. If someone gets caught it will be you. There are lots of other reasons the mp3 files might not play but I would certanly be worried. If they are not mp3s there are lots of reasons why they will not play most are fairly benign. The most common of these would be sansas do not play that format or the files may be DRMed.
